She was predeceased by : her parents, James "Vernon" Thomas and Ruth Thomas; and her husband Howard. She is survived by : her daughters, Angela Blomberg and Pamela Hayes; her son-in-law Phil Hayes; her grandchildren, Lindsay Daughhetee, Dylan Blomberg, Madelyn Hayes, Samuel Hayes and Elizabeth Hayes; her great grandchild Cole Daughhetee; her sister Donna McClain; and her brother-in-law Robert McClain of Mayfield, KY..

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Kansas City Hospice. Beverly will be remembered not only for her contributions to education, but also for the love she shared with her family and friends.
