With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Thompson in Independence, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bonnie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bonnie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Green and Josephine Green; her sister Jaquelyn Green; and her husband Harry "Shorty" Thompson. She is survived by: her brother Norman Green (Jo) of Gladstone, MO; and her children, Rick Mayville (Marleta) of Tampa, FL, Paul Mayville of Greybull, WY, Robin Rockhold (John) of Independence, MO and Steve Mayville of Gladstone, MO. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
