She is survived by : her mother Peggy Champ; her children, Allen Hitch, Steven Hitch (Susan) and Kim Hitch (Jacob Bruce); her stepmother Delores Champ (Dennis Heater); her brothers, Daniel Champ Jr., Thomas Reed and Michael Reed; and her grandchildren, Guage Mallon, Malachi Thomas, Charlotte Bruce, Jeremy Hitch, McKenzie Hitch and Hayley Hitch.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (18000 Lexington Rd, Independence, MO 64058).
