Clyde Ray Powell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Ray Powell of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert William and Pauline Pearle Powell (Stuart); and his sister Virginia Lee Reed. He is survived by: his wife Earlene Powell of Independence, MO; his daughters, Carol Lynn Black (Dennis) of Parkville, MO and Linda Lee Tucker of Brandon, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Melody Davis (Dax), Chad Black (Becky), Heather Berryman (Tommy), Ryan Black and Alexandra Sturgeon (Grant); and his great grandchildren, Dawson Davis, Dylan Black, Devin Sparrow Black, Teryn Berryman, Lilly Berryman, Jensen Black, Tyson Berryman and Jodie Belle Sturgeon. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the charity of donor's choice.
