He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wilson Freeland and Opal Marie Freeland; and his brothers, Paul, Earl, Don and Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Marie; his children, Kristen Reed (Ryan) and David Michael (Jill); his grandchildren, Danielle (Collin), Kaitlyn (Dakota), Mikayla (Jason), Briana (Collin), Sophie, Will and Max; his great grandchildren, Cavhan, Emmaus, Janessa, Romona, Ophelia, Ephraim, Boniface, Constance, Ludmila and Aislynn; and his sisters, Louise Hedding (Rex) and Pat Slavens.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Chapel (1150 NE Woods Chapel Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64064). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to David's church, Hope Chapel.
