We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2025, David Wesley Bailey of Independence, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David Wesley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David Wesley farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Astor and Mary Jane Bailey (Dunivan); and his sisters, Judith Kowalski and Linda Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Fran; his daughters, Julie Dohring (Thomas) of Canton, MI, Christina Ballinger (Ken) of Grain Valley, MO and Jennifer Helmich (Brandon) of Grain Valley, MO; and his sister Marilyn Bailey-Menichetti of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests no flowers or monetary condolences. In lieu of, the family requests donations to the organization of the donor's choice.
