He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bridges and Emma Lou Bridges; his wife Janice; and his siblings, Barbara and Claude.
He is survived by: his children, Bart Bridges (April), Tammy Pennington (Ron) and Gina Nix (Kevin); his grandchildren, Joe, Emily Bridges, Michael, Kayla Pennington, Dylan, Kelsea, Kody Nix, Jason Bassett and Dawn McIntire; his sisters, Sharon, Linda and Laura (Bud); and his siblings-in-law, Teresa (Norm), Carolyn (Jim), Glenda and Terry Messina (Penny). He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Royer's New Salem Funeral Home (1823 N Blue Mills Rd, Independence, MO 64058). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the same location.
