Denece Crabtree Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Denece Crabtree in Independence, Missouri. Denece, born on December 21, 1936 in Seattle, Washington, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Denece for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Denece’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudine Morical and Harold Morical; her husband Delbert; and her siblings, Haroline and Calvin.
She is survived by: her sister Bonnie Hailes; and her daughters, Toni Jo Hanretta (Michael), Boni Lee (Randy) and Jan Everhart (Glenn). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and one great great nephew.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Community of Christ (700 S Mitchell St, Warrensburg, MO 64093).
