He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carter Dibben of Independence, Missouri; his daughter Octavia Dawn D'Aishteah of Kansas City, Missouri; his brother Dwight Lee Dibben of Pinedale, Wyoming; and his stepchildren, Deborah D Knowles, Barbara N. Ledbetter and James Forrest Ledbetter Jr. (Rose).
