With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denton Ray Hayward of Independence, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Hayward and Wainta Hayward (Bish); his daughter Carrie Sue Hayward; his grandson Myles Denton Hayward; and his siblings, Richard, Gary and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Greg Hayward (Gayle) and Denny Roy Hayward; and his stepson Chad Crooks (Shannon). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
