Casey Quinlan wrote a sympathy message

“Donnie was a good guy. We grew up with him in Shawnee, Kansas. He lived two houses up the street on Charles Street. He took the time to teach us baseball, and we would later watch him pitch for a local team in the Shawnee area. As time moved on, my brother and I with another baseball fan would pick-up Donnie and we would go to watch ROYALS BASEBALL. He was a GOOD GUY and a fun companion. We will truly miss him. Casey & Mickey Quinlan”
