He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Thompson and Gladys Thompson. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his sister Alice Reeves; and his children, Julie Woodrome (Michael Brown), Robert Thompson (Kathy), Christopher Thompson, Timothy Thompson (Deanna) and Shane Thompson. He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Washington Cemetery (614 S Brookside Ave, Independence, MO 64053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the same location.
