She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schneider and Mildred Schneider; her husband John Paul; and her brother Alden Schneider. She is survived by: her children, Kent Koffenberger of Independence and Dana Koffenberger of Mill Valley, California.; her grandsons, Justin (Kristi) of Blue Springs and Zach (Andrew Bzowyckyj) of Beaverton, Oregon.; her great grandchildren, Sam, Mason and Harper; and her pet Poppy.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Nanny's lifelong mission to care for the creatures of Independence, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Independence Animal Hospital or the Independence Animal Shelter.
