We bid farewell to Elaine K. (Brown) Jackson in Independence, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Elaine K. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Elaine K. farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elaine K. is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Brown and Dorothy Brown; and her husband Jere W. Jackson of Barnard, Kan.. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Grubb (Jeffrey) and Jennifer Garrett (Tracy); her grandsons, Jason Grubb (Alexis), Justin Grubb and Grant Garrett; and her siblings, Myron Brown (Shirley) and Marilyn Bandy (Ron). She is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church (14506 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
