She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Elefson and Eleanore Elefson. She is survived by: her husband Gary Hoover; her children, Bret Hoover (Nancy), Lisa Hoover and Dana Edwards (Harold); her sister Kathryn Sacry (Gayle) of Whitehall; and her grandchildren, Bradley Hoover (Nicole), Andrew Hoover (Alana), Scott Hoover (Mikayla), Forrest Hagen (Amy), Hannah Shelton (Garrett), Stephen, David and Elizabeth Gulick. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Royer Funeral Home (1823 N Blue Mills Rd, Independence, MO 64058). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
