He is survived by: his wife Connie Garrett; his sons, Martin Garrett of Kansas City, MO, Christopher Schutte (Kellie) of Orrick, MO and Jason Garrett (Stacy) of Kearney, MO; and his siblings, Shirley Mawhiney of Independence, MO, Kenneth Garrett, Lewis Garrett of Kansas City, MO, Ronnie Garrett of Tulsa, OK and Gary Garrett of Independence, MO. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
