Drew Varga wrote a sympathy message

“Jerry was my 2nd cousin on my Mother’s side of the Family. Jerry was so gracious to help me find summer employment with a roofing contractor &live with him in Gardner-summer of ‘77. Needless to say, and knowing Jerry we broke the fun meter over the 2 month visit prior to returning to college. I sat and reminisced about that summer this evening I thought I’d see If I might find anything on Jerry through the “net”. I was heartbroken to learn of his passing. Rest with the Lord, Jerry.
