Harvey Ray Fletcher Obituary
We bid farewell to Harvey Ray Fletcher (Independence, Missouri), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Harvey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Harvey is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Harvey's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his cousin Ray Fletcher; his parents, Clyde Fletcher and Edna Peterson Fletcher; his brother Lyle; his friend Charleen; and his brothers, Lane and Ray. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces and cousins.
At the beginning of 2020 when the virus hit, Ray decided he didn't want to take the COVID-19 vaccine when the shots were offered.
He decided to donate the Girard Union Cemetery plots to the Funeral Home in Henning, MN to be used for someone that can't afford to buy them.
