He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ella Livesay (Dwight); and his brother Joseph Livesay. He is survived by: his father Strother Livesay; his wife Rita Grider; his sons, Thomas John Livesay and Richard Kent Livesay; his granddaughter Hirut Silverman; and his sister-in-law Sonja Livesay.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Royer's New Salem Funeral Home (1823 N Blue Mills Rd, Independence, MO 64058). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church, 125 S. Pleasant Street, Independence, Missouri 64050.
