He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Malicoat and Kathrine Malicoat (Boerchert); his siblings, Owen, James Malicoat (Jeannie) and Pat Thoeni (Vernon); his parents-in-law, Joseph Gurera and Nancy Gurera; his brothers-in-law, Carl and Anthony Gurera; his nephew Mark Gurera; and his nieces, Veronica Martin, Elizabeth Gurera and Anne Gurera.
He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Nancy (Ryan), Joe (Jo Marie), John (Nancy), Mary (Jeff), Michael (Tara) and Mark (Brenda); his siblings, Richard Malicoat (Janice) and Shirley Mueller; his grandchildren, Victoria, Mackenzie, Tommy, Maddie, Corey, Elizabeth, John, Gracie, Holly, Ryan and Charlee; and his great grandchildren, Granger, Owen, Reid, Jack and Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, to be used for future restoration of the church.
