In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his son John Elwood Shropshire Jr.; and the mother of his children Margie Mcmechan. He is survived by: his daughter Shelia Mae Gallant (Grand) of Independence; and his pet Madi Sue.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW (1280 E Kentucky Rd, Sugar Creek, MO 64050).
