He was predeceased by: his parents, A. B. Schowengerdt and Dorothy Inez Cox Schowengerdt; his stepmother Aleta Burch Schowengerdt; and his nephew Bryan Scot Schowengerdt. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Schowengerdt of Independence, Missouri; his daughters, Michelle Pehriz (Cagatay) of Oak Grove and Nicole Schowengerdt of Independence, Missouri; his brothers, Gary Schowengerdt (Trevalyn) of Butler and Dr. Ronald D. Schowengerdt (Linda); his stepsiblings, Claude Burch (Carol) of Parkville, Missouri and Diana Crawford (Bill) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Burak Pehriz and Devon Highley. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (1301 N Orange St, Butler, MO 64730). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
