She was predeceased by: her grandmother Josephine (Lord); and her parents, Joseph Patton and Margaret Rose Patton. She is survived by: her husband Clyde Sweeden; her great grandchildren, Landon and Joshua; her granddaughter Michelle; her sisters, Elizabeth and Dolly; and her close friend Betty Henley. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made "In Memory of Josephine Sweeden" to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
