She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melvin Brown and Florence Brown (Buck); her husband Melvin K. Snitker; her daughters, Denise Snitker-Snell (Steve) of Independence, MO and Deborah M. Minnick-Witkowski (Randall) of Independence, MO; her siblings, John Brown (Audrey) of Dallas, TX and Florence Long of Suwanee, GA; and her grandchildren, Tina Humphries, Josh Sieg, Casey Witkowski and Dain Witkowski. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joyce's memory are suggested to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
