We announce the death of Judith Hampton of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 79. Judith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Vaughn and Wilma Vaughn; her brothers, Stephen Vaughn, Michael Vaughn and Rick Vaughn; and her grandson Nikita Martell.
She is survived by: her sister Kris Peters; her children, Jason (Barb Vaughn), Rob Hampton and Kristina Hampton; her nieces, Melissa Peters-Roberts, Heather Buck (Ty Buck), Chessa Vaughn, Raeanna Orozco and Virginia Vaughn; her nephew Jay (Andrea Cook); and her grandchildren, Sascha Martell, Montana Vaughn, Melissa Martell and Elijah Gleason. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
