We are sad to announce that, on August 16, 2025, at the age of 75, Leon Prier of Independence, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Leon's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Leon's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Frank" Prier and Alma Prier (Ritz); his brothers, Roy and Ralph; and his brother-in-law Kirby Vanatta.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Mellon (Jon) and Doug Prier (Samantha); and his grandson Jackson Ray (Sheryl). He is also survived by his siblings, extended family, and many, many friends.
