She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hillebrenner and Laura Hillebrenner (Laura Wolters); her former husband Howard Ballew; her son Ricky Ballew; and her sister Ruth Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, David Ballew (Genetta) and Cathy Mays (Ron); and her grandchildren, Anji Mezzacasa (Mike), Chassy Green, Chad LaVoi, DJ Ballew, Emily Sapp and Ben Mays. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055).
