He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip K. Weeks and Julia Lenore Brown Weeks; and his wife Carolyn Cunningham Slayton. He is survived by: his daughter Gabrielle Weeks (Coby Skye); his sisters, Phylis Crisp (Stuart Willis) and Marcy Brown (Mitch); his niece Jaime Simpson (David); his nephews, Philip Brown (Liz) and Ryan Crisp (Melissa); and his stepdaughters, Cyd Slayton (Madeleine McDonough), Tamra Rembolt (Jay) and Lisa Slayton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hope House.
