She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Schill and Ruth Schill; her husband Roger Umsted; her son Ricky; and her sisters, Lois Klingson and Betty Anderson.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Umsted (Ada) of Fort Worth, TX and Roma Prins (Martin) of Independence, MO. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
