He is survived by: his wife Lily Jane Kirchhoff; his children, Angela Howery (Kevin) and Aaron Kirchhoff; his grandchildren, Erika Sanders (Alex), Craig Howery, Eric, Savanna Mckamey, Jackson and Tara Frisch; his sister Ruby Shinn (John) of Independence, MO; and his sister-in-law Anna Kirchhoff of Concordia, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest contributions to be made in Merle's honor to Ascension Lutheran Church or to Iconium Cemetery.
