He is survived by: his children, Joshua Dunham, Jeannie Bain and Jeffrey Bain; and his siblings, Marvin Urban (Sharon), Larry Bain, Leonard Bain, Kenneth Bain (Sue) and Alicia Sipes (Charlie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Carson-Speaks Chapel (1501 W Lexington Ave, Independence, MO 64052). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael's memory to DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
