He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Gunn and Dorothy Gunn; his mother-in-law Doris Gosnell; his brother-in-law Keith Myers; his brother Timothy Gunn; his niece Jillian Caraway; and his granddaughter Izabella Colvin.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his siblings, Laurie (Rick), Melinda and Norman; and his children, Michelle (Phillip), Butch (Jennifer), Robert (Shonda) and Morgan (Walter). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
