It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Monte Ray Emry of Independence, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford "Hap" and Beaulah Emry (Smith); and his brother Glynn Emry. He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Emry of Peculiar, MO and Jennifer Zents of Grain Valley, MO; his brother Neal Emry of Independence, MO; his grandchildren, RayLynn Emry-Callahan, Alyson Ladd, Aaliyah Ladd, Brendon Meyerkorth Aden Kinser, Connor Meyerkorth and Riley Kinser; and his great grandchild Oran Ladd.

According to Jackson County COVID-19 regulations masks are to be worn at all services.

Memorial contributions in Monte's name are suggested to the St. Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, 4401 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64111.
