She was predeceased by: her parents, William Phipps and Nina Phipps; her sister Connie Phipps Irwin; her husband David Calvert; and her brother William Phipps, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Calvert (Carla) of Wichita, KS, Jim Calvert (Debbie) of Olathe, KS and Larry Calvert (Karen) of Blue Springs, MO; her sister-in-law Barbara Phipps of Lamar, MO; her brothers, Gary Phipps (Dorothy) of Lamar, MO and Don Phipps (Ava); and her brother-in-law Ray Irwin (Sherry) of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lake Cemetery (E 12th St & 12th St W, Lamar, MO 64759). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sycamore Hills Baptist Church (15200 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055).
