He is survived by: his son Little League; his grandchild Christian; his sister Sandra Hukarevic (Lottie) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his children, Roxanna Starr (Bub), James "Chris" Gibson (Robin) of Independence, Missouri. and Stephen "Steve" Gibson (Sherrie) of Independence, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Stacey Starr of Gladstone, Missouri, Nicole Hudson (Jeremy) of Independence, Missouri, Brooke Wily (Chris) of Independence, Missouri, Lacy Gibson of Independence, Missouri, Kristen Wilde (Blane) of Excelsior Springs, Tabitha Dresher of Lexington, MO, Garett Gibson of Independence, Justin Starr (Ashley) of Grain Valley and DJ Rader of Independence, MO.; and his great grandchildren, Nicollette Lockard of Independence, Faith Lockard of Independence, Alexis Wiley of Independence, Alyvia Starr of Grain Valley, Missouri, Trae Starr (Nicholas Wiley) of Gladstone, Missouri, Sage Wilde of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Maclan Starr (Jayden) of Grain Valley, Missouri, Jakobe Farrow of Independence and Jericho Hudson of Independence. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
