It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert George Meiners (Independence, Missouri), who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Meiners and Antonia Meiners; and his stepson Gary Meiners. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Don Meiners (Donna) of Lee's Summit and Sandy Drusch (Pete) of Texas. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (3736 S Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to go to the New Bell Tower at St. Mark Parrish.
