He is survived by: his former wife Mary Josephine Curry; his daughters, Nellie Blossom (Tim) and Marlena Louise; his wife Cynthia Prewitt; his stepson Chase Hibdon (Kate); his siblings, Richard Prewitt (Kelly), Ron Prewitt (Greg Smith), Lisa Knappenberger, Lori Bellis (Chris), Robin Prewitt (Kim) and Kirk Montagne (Jillian Kay); his grandchildren, Elaina Morton (Seth), Malorie Morrison (Wes), Caylee Petree (Jamin), Joel Rash, Trystan Rash (Sophia), Josephine Knox and Jade Knox; and his great grandchildren, Mora, Ada, Isla, Mary, Ridge, Harlow, Maisie and Millie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs (5951 Highway 10, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (449 Crown Hill Rd, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024).
