She was predeceased by: her father William Abernathey; her stepmother Ester Abernathey; her brothers, Norman Abernathey (Gladys), Eugene Abernathey, Duane Abernathey and Robert Abernathey; her half-brothers, Larry, Doug and David Abernathey; and her brother-in-law Lloyd Undlin (Henry Luther) of Buckner.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Johnson of Kansas City and Larry Allen of Kansas City; her brother Donald Abernathey (Millie); her half-sister Patrica Hanson (Sonny); her stepsister Margaret Undlin; her sister-in-law Roma Abernathey; her grandchildren, Cindy Long (Ron) and Klint Allen; her great grandchildren, Krystal Hughes (Shawn), Hannah Meese and Dylan Long; and her great great grandchildren, Tessa, Kinsley, Landen, Greyson, Huntley, Braxtin and Oaklee.
