She was predeceased by : her parents, Laverne K. "Burr" Blakey and Ruth Blakey (Hamilton). She is survived by : her children, Lyndel Ragsdale of Odessa and Matthew Bogert (Meghan) of Kearney; her grandchildren, Sarah Unkel (Brad), Dana Ragsdale, Grant Bogert, Abbie Bogert and Leah Bogert; and her siblings, Earl Powell (Debbie) of Moberly, Jim Powell of Madison, Kenneth Blakey of Columbia, Larry Blakey of Moberly and Wanda Williams of Boonville.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gathering Baptist Church (4505 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64055). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
