Sharon Sue Basham Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025, Sharon Sue Basham of Independence, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cook Rountree and Zelma Rountree; and her siblings, John King Rountree, Loetta Kenney, Farol Ray and Alluwe Long.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Gail Basham; her children, Darryl Basham (Marty) and Dana Norton (Roger); her grandchildren, Samuel Basham, Gretchen King (Ryan) and Meredith Basham; and her siblings, Judy Montgomery and Gary Rountree.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meyers Funeral Chapel (1600 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association Heart of America Chapter | Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org).
