With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Lee Ferguson of Independence, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Lee and Frances Marie Ferguson (Tuttle); his wife Greta (Wiley); his children, Stephen Ferguson II of Independence, MO, Gretchen (Warsaw) and Edith Payne (John Babbin) of Higginsville, MO; and his siblings, Mike Ferguson of Independence, MO, Thomas Ferguson (Kay) of Grain Valley, MO and Cheryl Flowers of Independence, MO.. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Oak Ridge Memory Gardens (18301 E Salisbury Rd, Independence, MO 64056).
