Susan K. Prater Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2025, Susan K. Prater (Independence, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Rice and Betty Rice; her siblings, Mary, Martha, David and Mark; her sons, Paul and Greg; and her in-laws, James and Merle Prater.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Prater; her son Ryan Prater (Carmela); her brother-in-law Kevin Prater; and her sisters, Trudy Turner Grain Valley, Lana Downey Blue Springs and Betty Blake (Keith) of Ohio. She is also survived by brother Kevin Rice Oklahoma City, 2 Grandsons and 2 Great Granddaughters.
