She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Olen and Sylvia Madge (Green) Gaw; husband: Buddy Fred Powers; children: Corey Powers (Julie), Leslie Powers (Michael Gilbert), Don (Donnie) Powers (Marie), and the late Pamela Hall (Roger Hall); siblings: Donald Gaw, Gary Gaw (Doris), Art Green (Marsha), Patricia Eskina, and Sandra Marshall; grandchildren: Kerry Haddad (Max), Darren Glass (Kristine), Rachel Connor (Chris), Matthew Hall, Ian Powers, Lindsay Vandewart (Kyle), Stephen Stanton, Asher Powers, and Liev Powers; great-grandchildren: Silas and Maddox Newman, Evie and Kai Haddad, Aria and Amelie Vandewart, and Ember and Sullivan Connor; grandchildren (deceased): Emma Powers and Sarah Hall.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson-Speaks Funeral Home (1501 W Lexington Ave, Independence, MO 64052).
