She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lucas and Eva Lucas (Patrick); and her former husband Jimmy Brestogianis. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Greer of Independence and John Joseph Brestogianis of Independence; her sisters, Helen Kent of Lees Summit, MO and Dorothy Lucas of Independence, MO; her grandson Joshua Greer; and her great grandchildren, Rowin Greer and Logan Greer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great friends and neighbors.
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (3736 S Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Mound Grove Cemetery (1818 N River Blvd, Independence, MO 64050).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Mark Catholic Church.
