He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wertz and Hazel Marjorie "Marge" Wertz (Spencer); and his brother Joe Wertz. He is survived by: his sister Donna Hardin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Ste A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.
