He was predeceased by: his parents, John Box and Ruby Box (Kain); his brother Ed Box; and his grandsons, Aaron Box and Jonathan Box.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Morris (Dave) of Lees Summit, MO, Steve Box of Kansas City, MO and Diane Mahoney (Mike) of Lees Summit, MO; and his sister Velma Keightley of Bolivar, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
