Waunita Belle Moore Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 25, 2025, at the age of 91, Waunita Belle Moore (Independence, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Waunita may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Elmer and Elsie Lucille Riley (Jenkins); her husband Joseph Sehnert Moore; her daughter Joanne Moore; her grandson Clayton Riley Moore; and her sister Geraldine McCallum.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Schneider (Leon) of Independence, Joseph Craig Moore (Brenda) of St. Joseph and Steven Riley Moore of Blue Springs. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
