He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Helton and Ethel Helton (Martin); his stepmother Dorothy Helton (Green); his wife Carolyn Ruth Lowerey; and his siblings, Wayne Helton, Warren Helton, Arthur Helton, Arlen Helton, Roger Helton, Louise Vemmer, Lola Delashamit and Lorraine O'Harver.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tim Whited (Kiley), Toby Whited (Ashley), Abby Robbs (Chris), Patience King and Addison Helton; his great grandchildren, Tristen, Briley, Colin, Kadence, Theo and Miley; and his siblings, Sonny Helton (Robin) of Vienna, Leona Williams of Nashville and Joyce Sallin (Ron) of Murray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be made in Harold's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital St. Jude's.
