He was predeceased by : his father James Sr. Davis; his former life partner Charlotte Pauline Gibson; and his wife JoAnn G. Eaton. He is survived by : his sons, John Davis (Bob Kovacs) and Chester Davis Davenport; his stepchildren, Paul Rogers Mocksville (Kathy), Suzanne Mollet Prairie, Rocher and Leah Ann Donjon Evansville (Jim); and his brother Joe Davis Chesapeake (Ellen).
