He was predeceased by : his parents, Chesley Vernon and Ethel Jean Reeves (McGee). He is survived by : his spouse Shirley Reeves (Hockemeyer); his children, Jerry Lee Reeves, II of Farmington, MO and Kim Pickett (Timothy) of Cape Girardeau, MO; his grandchildren, Chelsea Kay June Faries (Joseph), Jerry Lee "Trey" Reeves, III (Rene), Asia Ann Lashley (Ben), Emma Pickett, Jax Logan Reeves and Winifred Pickett; his great grandchildren, Liam, Benny and Henry; his brothers, Thurman Kenneth "Kenny" Reeves (Jan) of Arcadia, MO and Richard E. Reeves of Lincoln, NE; his sister-in-law Janice Reeves of Idaho; his brother Vernon Reeves, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Shirley Mae Reeves.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jerry's honor to a national park of your choice.

“My heart goes out to Mr Jerry's family. Him and Mrs Shirley are wonderful people I met from their travels and love of Keno. They always offered to help out any way possible whenever my family was faced with threat of Hurricanes. We will miss Mr Jerry but know heaven has just gained a great angel. Hugs and prayers to Mrs Shirley and family during this hard time. Love y'all .”
